1. Who we are

This policy explains how Industrial Intelligence Group Oy ("IIG", "we", "us") processes your personal data when you visit our website or contact us. Given the nature and scale of our processing, we have not appointed a Data Protection Officer; please direct any privacy matters to that address.

2. What personal data we collect

• Information you provide — e.g. when you request access, book a demo or contact us: name, email address, company, and any details you include in your message.
• Technical data — collected automatically via server logs and cookies: IP address, browser and device type, referring pages, and pages viewed.

3. Why we use it and our legal bases

We process personal data on the following legal bases under Article 6 GDPR:

• Consent — for non-essential cookies and any optional communications.
• Legitimate interests — to operate, secure and improve the site and to respond to your enquiries.
• Performance of a contract — where we are taking steps at your request or fulfilling an agreement.
• Legal obligation — where the law requires us to retain or disclose data.

4. Cookies

We use cookies as described in our Cookie Policy. Non-essential cookies are only set with your consent, which you can change at any time via "Cookie settings".

5. Sharing and processors

We share personal data only with service providers (processors) acting on our behalf — for example hosting and analytics providers — under appropriate data processing agreements. We do not sell your personal data. These providers currently include our website hosting/CDN provider, our web-font provider (Google Fonts) and our email provider, each processing data only on our documented instructions.

6. International transfers

Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. For example, our web-font provider (Google LLC) may process your IP address in the United States under those clauses.

7. Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above or as required by law, after which it is deleted or anonymised. In general, enquiry and contact data is kept for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, and website server logs for up to 12 months, unless a longer period is required by law.

8. Your rights

Subject to conditions in the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. 9. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse.

10. Children

This site is intended for business users and is not directed at children.
